As we age, we tend to think that our dreams and aspirations have passed us by, and we are now too old to pursue them. Not true! At the age of 68, I became an author, something I never thought I would do, or even thought I COULD do, for that matter. As we age, we must remember to keep living; keep striving, and pursuing those things that make us happy and bring joy to our lives.
We should continue to live life with purpose and intention, with the understanding that it’s never too late. Life is too short! Problems will always be with us; if it’s not one thing, it will be another.
Matthew 6:34 says, “therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own” (NIV)
So, let’s “cast all our anxieties on Him” (1 Peter 5:7, ESV), the Lord Jesus Christ, and get to LIVING!!
